Fake Document Attributed to Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya (Gayatri Pariwar)

This fake document is doing the rounds on WhatsApp.

  • Firstly there is no magazine of the Gayatri Pariwar called Vegetarian Magazine. The official magazine of the Gayatri Pariwar is called Akhand Jyoti.
  • Pandit Shriram Sharma wrote exclusively in Hindi. In 1971 none of his writings were in English and none had been translated into English either.
  • Even the text on the page appears mixed up in various font sizes, with some words overwriting others. This shows that the text has been manipulated to put across a certain message.
  • Pandit Shriram Sharma never predicted a conflict among Muslim nations. He always stood for religious unity including Hindu-Muslim unity.
  • He has said that there will be a descent of Satyug – a golden era of peace and spiritual upliftment in which people of the world will unite as one family.

His commitment towards unity of religions is depicted in the following mashall (flaming torch) symbol heralding the Descent of Satyug which he himself designed. People belonging to all major the religions of the world (including Islam and Christianity) are present in this symbol including those who follow the doctrine of Atheism.
