In the previous story, we saw how doctors had declared Maganbhai to be dead, but Pandit Shriram Sharma brought him back to life. Now, after listening to that story, some of you might think: How is this even possible? Isn’t it too far-fetched?

So, in this podcast, we examine the yogic power (siddhi) of Ishitvam, which accrues naturally to a God-realized sage. Ishitvam, or the power to resurrect the dead, is one of the 8 major powers (ashta-siddhis) documented in the Hindu scriptures.

There is nothing magical or supernatural about these yogic powers. They are a straightforward byproduct of ascending to the state of God-consciousness. Jesus too possessed this yogic power of Ishitvam. That is how he brought Lazarus back to life.
